About
About Mutually
A conversation to help you think through a relationship. AI-guided. Not therapy.
What this is
Mutually is a private, AI-guided conversation for the moments a relationship has you stuck: something feels off, it just ended, or you can’t move on. You say what happened. It asks the question you’ve been avoiding. You reach your own conclusion.
Who makes it
Mutually is built by a small team that spent years reading the research on relationships, breakups, and attachment, and longer living through the questions it covers. Before this, the same team built a consumer mobile app for exactly this problem: helping people think clearly when a relationship has them going in circles. That work, the research, and our own experience are what Mutually is made from.
How we write
Every article starts with the evidence. We read the studies and the clinicians, cite what we use with a link you can check, and say plainly when the research is thin or mixed. Where we speak from experience, we say so. We write to help you think, not to tell you what to do, and we never promise an outcome.
What we are not
Mutually is not therapy, not medical or mental-health treatment, and not a crisis service. Our articles are not reviewed by a clinician, and we will never claim they are. If a conversation or an article touches something bigger than an app, we say so and point you to real help.
If you are in crisis in the United States, call or text 988. If you are in immediate danger, call 911.
